Target Field in Minneapolis is the first facility built specifically for the Minnesota Twins. Designed with baseball's largest full-roof canopy soffit, the 40,000-seat ballpark opened for the 2010 MLB season. Target Field was awarded LEED Silver Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. It is only the second LEED-certified professional sports stadium in the United States.
